Katy Perry and Russell Brand have finally tied the knot! The girl-kissing singer and her British comedian boyfriend finally said their 'I dos' to each other after week-long celebrations in India, the country in which Russell proposed.
A Christian priest conducted their wedding, the first stage of days of celebrations with friends.

Both the bride and groom wore traditional Indian clothes, with Katy dressed in a sari. Russell, keeping up with the traditions of the culture, rode in on a white horse. They both sat on gold thrones to make their wedding speeches.
The couple, who met at the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2009, where Russell,35, was host, tried to keep their celebration under wraps. They flew in early last week with Katy, 25, covering her head and face as she and her fiance touched down in Mumbai.
The ceremony took place at the Aman-e-Khas luxury resort outside the Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary, 80 miles from Jaipur. The venue's trees were said to be illuminated by colourful lights and luxury tents were decorated with flower garlands.

News agency Press Trust of India reported that 21 camels, elephants and horses formed part of Brand's wedding procession from a nearby resort. He was also accompanied by traditional dancers and musicians.
The celebrity guest list included Jonathan Ross and his wife Jane Goldman, David Baddiel, Rihanna and P Diddy.
